Ann Ford Contributes: The Mission, Value, and Roles of Medical Affairs in MedTech

Ann Ford, Partner at Hall Prangle and Schoonveld, LLC and Managing Director of HPS Advise, was a contributing author to the article, The Mission, Value, and Roles of Medical Affairs in MedTech, published by The Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS). Ann comments on her experience below.

Along with my MedTech colleagues within the Medical Affairs Professional Society, I am privileged to have contributed to this paper generated by lead co-authors John Pracyk, M.D. and William Sigmund, M.D..  It covers an important topic: defining the role and impact of Medical Affairs in MedTech.  To quote Dr. Pracyk, “The hope is that those from within and beyond Medical Affairs will use this article to establish a baseline understanding of the profession within their organizations, as well as the aspirational north star when evaluating Medical Affairs actions, structure, and strategy.”
