On January 18, Ann Ford and Cora Colvin of HPS Advise presented a webinar on preferred provider arrangements to DME/HME members of the Midwest Association of Medical Equipment Services and Supplies (MAMES).
Ann and Cora spoke about identifying and managing the compliance issues that can arise with consignment closet preferred provider arrangements.
When properly designed, consignment closet arrangements with hospitals, physicians, and like providers promote quality and access to care by allowing appropriate items to be on-site for patients who need them.
